Play around the bugs
Matched by build plan, shared topics, and guide progression — not random related links.
Steam’s review snapshot at verification is Mostly Negative. That pile is why this Agefield High bugs page exists. The complaints that keep showing up are mechanical: the client dies, the slot empties, an NPC or flag never advances, skip-class heat feels missing, stealth cheats, and a bike job cannot be finished after a crash. A first patch landed August 14, 2026 (simpler music minigames + “many minor issues”) — that note did not name crash or save-wipe fixes. Changelog: updates.

Community-observed, not a patch dump
Refugium has not published a fix table on this page. Every workaround below is what players and preview coverage already describe. If a later build changes a row, the date at the top of this Agefield High bugs article is the check, not a Discord rumour — there is no official Discord to scrape.
Cutscene cameras stay short
Wonky cutscene cameras are a quality note. They are not a softlock. Do not burn a save because a shot framed a wall. The fails that actually end a session are crash, wipe, freeze, stealth clip, and bike spawn. Crash is first.
What do I do after a crash?
Launch reports include hard crashes mid-mission and mid-ride. There is no published crash code on this Agefield High bugs page. Treat a crash as a save problem first: boot, check the slot, load the duplicate. If the only file is the one that was writing when the client died, you may already be in the wipe case.
Do01Load the duplicated slot, not the most recent auto if it looks empty or stuck
Do02If the client died on a bike job, expect a bad respawn — grab a world bike before you restart the pin
Do03If it died in stealth, reload the line rather than forcing the same cone
Do04Note whether it died in a cutscene — that is usually presentation plus a crash, not a new puzzle
Do05One crash is a reload. A pattern is a verify-files / lower-settings pass on Steam, then stop stacking hours on one slot
Do not “fix” a crash by skipping class
A skip will not patch the client. Teachers and cops are a school-system problem. Crash is a file problem. Habits that keep a copy around: tips. First hours if you have to replay the opener: beginner guide.
Verify files is not a walkthrough
Steam’s verify tool is the boring next step when crashes repeat. It is not a mission hint. If the flag was already frozen before the crash, you are in the freeze section, not here.
The worse sibling of a crash is a slot that opens and is empty. That is the wipe.
Why did my save wipe?
Community reports include deleted or wiped saves. Steam Cloud is listed on the store page. Still warn: Cloud can sync the empty file. Duplicate inside the game if extra slots exist. Do not treat “Cloud enabled” as a second copy of a good week.
What you saw
Likely case
Move
Slot empty after a crash
Write interrupted, or Cloud synced the empty
Load the duplicate; turn Cloud off only if you know what that does on your install
The tips rule is mechanical: duplicate before a long mission and before prom. After a wipe you are reconstructing. This Agefield High bugs page will not invent a folder path that Steam might move. If you already know your userdata path, copy it yourself; we will not guess a Windows layout.
A wipe is not an ending
Two endings split at prom. A deleted slot is not the “bad” ending. If you still have a pre-dance copy, that is the route page, not this one.
If the file is intact and the objective never completes, you have a freeze. That is the next Agefield High bugs case.
Why is this mission frozen?
Community reports: AI freeze and missions that will not complete after a clean run. The NPC never walks, the flag never ticks, the hover card still wants a job you already did. Reload an earlier save. Do not stand in the objective mashing interact until the client crashes for real.
Symptom
Often actually
If it is this bug
Icon will not start
Still in weekday class, or the hover window is closed
Weekdays expect you in a room until afternoon. A pin that will not start while you are seated is often attendance, not Agefield High bugs. Hover the card. Sit or skip on purpose. Stuck opening chain: walkthrough.
One reload beats a new save
If the duplicate from before the beat still completes, the live slot is dirty — stay off it. If every copy freezes on the same pin, you are waiting on a patch, not a hidden second entrance. Do not invent a mission name to search.
Some reviews then say skip-class never punishes you. That is a different complaint. It is next, because people treat it like a feature.
Do skip-class consequences actually fire?
Launch reviews say attendance consequences feel weak. Official copy still says teachers and cops notice if you skip too much or break rules. This Agefield High bugs page logs the limp-AI complaint. It does not reprint skip as free. Thresholds stay TBA. We will not invent a heat meter that reviews say is missing.
If cops never show, that is a fail in enforcement, not a published “best skip hour.” Letter grades still pay. Hustles still exist. Play skip class as written; log the limp consequence here if it never arrives.
Faculty are detection, not bosses
A fistfight is the wrong tool for a teacher. Inputs for jocks: combat. On campus the actual minigame is visibility — which IGN already said can lie. That clip is the next section.
Why was I seen through a wall?
IGN’s preview is the useful warning: stealth can see you through walls, and detection can fire on the wrong floor. House jobs and campus skips share a HUD visibility meter plus sight cones. If you are spotted in a room nobody can see, that is a detection bug. Reload. Do not invent a second entrance.
These Agefield High bugs notes will not publish a “safe tile” map. If the cone cheated, the line is dirty. Back off, re-enter, or load the duplicate. Forcing a fight in the hallway turns a sneak beat into a brawl the job did not ask for.
Detection is not a skill tree
No stealth XP, no silent-step item, no official Discord drop. You watch the meter. You reload when it cheats. Combat stays punch, block, shove, kick for jocks — combat.
The other IGN fail that actually ends a mission is the bike. That is the last mechanical Agefield High bugs case.
Why did the bike softlock the mission?
IGN: after a knockdown or a failed ride, the mission bike can respawn badly — somewhere you cannot recover it — and that can softlock the job. Workaround the preview already points at: grab another world bike. Agefield is full of them. Do not restart the week because the original frame clipped into a hedge.
What happened
IGN / community note
Workaround
Knocked off the mission bike
Respawn can be unreachable
Mount any world bike and continue the objective
Failed a jump / delivery drop
Same spawn fail
Do not abandon the pin — steal a street frame
Ragdoll physics look drunk
Wonky ragdoll on bike crashes (IGN)
Wait it out, remount; physics are not the softlock
Cannot find the original bike on a roof
Opening stolen-bike beat can end on a roof
Look up first; that one is a quest tell, not this bug
Flag still stuck after a new bike
Freeze on top of the spawn fail
Reload the duplicate from before the ride
World bikes are the patch
You start without a car. Town is built to be ridden. Extra frames sitting in the street are the observed fix, not a cheat. Keep Mike’s recovered bike as the first wheels — tips — but mid-job the nearest world bike is the one that unsticks the flag.
Ragdoll is the tell, cameras are not
Wonky ragdoll on a crash is how you know the spawn may be about to lie. Cutscene cameras are a separate quality nit: keep them short, skip if you can, do not treat a bad angle as a softlock. If the objective still will not tick after you remount, you are back in the freeze case — earlier save, not a third bike.
That is the launch list: crash, wipe, freeze, weak attendance, stealth clip, bike softlock, ragdoll, cameras. Duplicate first. Grab a street bike. Reload cheated cones. Then go back to playing — tips, beginner guide, walkthrough.
Agefield High bugs FAQ
What are the main Agefield High bugs at launch?
Crashes, deleted or wiped saves, AI / mission freezes, attendance that feels weak, stealth through walls or the wrong floor (IGN), bike respawn softlocks after a knockdown (IGN), wonky ragdoll, and cutscene cameras. Workarounds are community-observed, not official patch notes.
My save vanished. Does Steam Cloud help?
Cloud is listed. Still duplicate locally. Cloud can sync a wiped file. Clone before long missions and before prom.
The mission will not complete. Is it a bug?
Often class clock or a closed hover window — school system. If the run was clean and the flag never ticks, reload an earlier save. That is the freeze case.
I got spotted through a wall.
IGN flagged stealth through walls and wrong-floor detection. Reload. Do not invent a second route.
My bike disappeared and the job is stuck.
IGN: bad respawn after knockdown/fail can softlock. Grab another world bike — town is full of them. Opening stolen-bike on a roof is a different tell; look up.
Should I skip class because reviews say nothing happens?
No. Official copy still has teachers and cops. Weak heat is a review complaint. Skip with a hustle: tips.
Are these official patch notes?
No. Community and IGN. Recheck the live Steam listing after updates.
Do ragdoll crashes break the save?
Usually not. Remount. The softlock is the unreachable mission bike, not the ragdoll animation. Cutscene cameras are presentation — skip if you can.
